What i find interesting about this, being a Madagascarphile, is that the only signal it picks up from the entire island is one from Antalaha.

One of the two things that people know about Madagascar, indeed it popped up on the '1st for ...' map that @Gramaisc posted some moments ago, is that it is the World's foremost supplier of vanilla.

The market place for the World's vanilla is in Antalaha. Antalaha is by no means a big anything other than a big market place for vanilla.

The current President of Madagascar was voted in to replace a very divisive former one, who was both owner and DJ of the biggest radio station in the country. That was, as you'd imagine, in the capital city of Antananarivo.

So why is there an internet radio presence in a piss-pot town such as Antalaha, and not one in the capital city?

Which nation controls the vanilla trade in Madagascar, and thus the World?

Give you two guesses...
