Wanted litre/750ml swing top clear bottles

My hubby fancies having a go at Elderflower champagne, but we are struggling to find any decent bottles to ferment it in. The bottles need to be strong and have sealable lids.

Grolsh beer bottles with swingtop seals are easy to use, IF you can find them, and of course you have the pleasure of emptying them first.
Screw top polycarbonate pop bottles work quite well and are safer than glass, if you are fermenting in the bottle.

I didnt think of using pop bottles, I suppose they are more flexible than glass and you are right, not as dangerous!! Cheers
