Mine started off with Bill Hayley and his Comets at the Top of the World and moved slowly onto Trapeze and String Driven Thing across the road

Wizzard and Leo Sayer and Supertramp up the poly

A bit of Osibisa, Bill Nelson, Nazareth, Cockney Rebel back at the Grot

Later it was to be the likes of Joe Jackson and The Skids and Simple Minds at the beaconside poly again

999 at the Borough Hall

Back for The Cure Thin Lizzy x2 Dexys George McCrea at the Grot ( time zones are slipping now )

and at some point Thin Lizzy again at the Bingley Hall following The Who, The Stones, Bob Marley, Barry Manilow ( working - honest Guv ) Cat Stevens, Abba, David Bowie ( missed the World Cup Final for that )The Jam and others..

Save the High House Climax Blues Band gig..

Deaf School, Chapman Whitney Street Walkers erm,, Judas Priest in Tipping Street also Kevin Coyne

And then I moved away..

Came back - had a wash and it was 44 pistols in the Cleaver beer garden - like nothing had happened

Can anyone fill in some gaps?...

it does get fuzzy does it not

I have certainly seen the afore mentioned but whether it was 'within these walls' is unclear..

Supercharge maybe at the Village Newport too - Otway all over the place

Teardrop Explodes rings bells at the factory in Manchester but fuzzy is the winner there

Straycats was a polyjobby..

I don't know if I should laugh or cry - now I actually know I had an even better time than I thought - but rather sad to think I need a fortnight to recover from a Tom Waits gig in Dublin

I was induced to see Thin Lizzy in the cow-shed - the time they were supported by the Vipers ( I think ) - when said Vipers' singer was hit by a tremendously accurate long shot with a can of lager. The sound was so shite that I vowed never to go in there again. However, we did go up for ZZ Top, but we took a picnic and some loungers to a location in the field behind. They circled us in their helicopter on arrival and the sound really was so much better outside. A lovely sunset, then stars and bats flitting about as well. Probably get arrested now.

Oh, and for basil - Status Quo played the stables at Ingestre, but I wasn't there for that one.

And there was the Oasis in Stone. Saw Screaming Lord Sutch, Poisoned Electrick Head, Dumpy's Rusty Nuts, - a great place - a gym in the daytime and still full of muscle-bound types at the evening dos, so no trouble.
