The finale on Sunday 15th July is well worth a trip up the Castle. Live music, beer, bouncy castles. . .
this could be the Forum picnic event!

I agree! was cracking last year....ummmm good venue for picnic yeah, but would also be nice to have another one maybe later in the month...oh what the hell...every week?

I was there last year too, hottest day of the year. Ended up spending some time with St. Johns Ambulance, not due to sun exposure or alcohol poisoning but got a little dust in my eye. . . .very rock 'n' roll.

thats the weekend that im back in the ford for my birthday so id be well up for that!

i think i went last year, champers and an ice age birthday cake courtesy of my mum...you gotta love her!

Such is the draw of this event that somebody me and Panders used to work with in London has pledged to attend when she's back from studying tropical fish off the coast of some far-flung isle.

Supposed to be going to Wakefield for somebody's birthday, and a spot of bouncey boxing (boxing 'pon a bouncy castle - not beating up pie addicts) that weekend though. Decisions decisions.

It's a top event and we don't miss it for the world, unless it's tipping down with rain and then we'll pop up but maybe not stay all day! But I hope it doesn't.

What a marvellous idea!

I was un-able to attend the garden party due to The Middle of Nowhere and I would love to meet some of the other forumites at some stage over the summer. The idea of the banner would make it much easier to know who's who. :cool:

alas we are not this year. they got innundated with bands wanting to play this year (due to the massiveness of last year crowd and bands quality) and they have a sort of rule about not 2 years in a row, so we, the kramp and others who would love to fill the stage and make the castle fall over again wont be doing this year. next year however... :P

but very soon we will have a plethora of giggage local and otherwise for your delectation...

hehe well i said it was an sort-of rule :) who knows... i dont mind tho, last year was amazing to play and weve had a rough year what with drummer search and all that so we dunna mind.

as for a gig big z, were be more than happy to do that :)

Am i right in thinking last years gig was amazingly hot?

i think i had a little to much to drink and had to be taken home by mrs quid
