Loft work

Thinking of boarding out my loft (add power sockets, window, insulation, etc), make the most of the space up there.

Anyone had this done recently, and/or know someone who has and had a good experience with their tradesman?

Perhaps not all of the above mentioned jobs, i could micro manage most of that 9and me myself and i do some of the work), need someone to come round and take some money off me, alls while i've a smile on my face.

I'm not importing it straight in from China G, from Yee Yungs Loft Bodges.

I'm convinced Homebase has carried out the relevant safety/load bearing tests, for me!

The concern is more about what it does to your ceiling, with loaded and unloaded joists adjacent...

I know what you mean, all's i can hope for is an even distribution of this slight but elegant frame of mine, that and the 10 ton of junk that'll be dust-collecting, up there, is enough to spread the load!
