Spent a night in Cyprus watching these years ago - genuine 'inky darkness' - at times it felt that evasive action was required - too much light-wastage here, though, I fear....

Although the peak has passed, it may still be worth popping out now and again given that the cloud has finally passed.

Perseus is just rising now - just below the Cosmic W, aka Cassiopeia.

One flew into my office the other day, did 5 or 6 laps of the room and back out the door again. quite a frequent occurrence in the upstairs offices with their velux windows i'm told.
