So I'm lead to believe.

 

Anyone up for a bit of fun could always consider joining up with Stafford Lions Club. We are always getting up to something or other around town, Fundraising, Food Collections, Evening shows, Filmed Horse Racing, Fun Days or simply Bucket Rattling at local Supermarkets etc.
One thing we are particulary proud of is, not a penny of any money raised or donated is taken for administration purposes, every single penny raised goes to charitable causes.
We are ordinary people, doing amazing things, and it feels good.

I was originally thinking you had experience of Stafford Lions, hence my enquiry.
You are deffo right about the average age thing. It is a very sad fact that the average age of Lions Clubs members is getting old (as are Rotary and other similar volunteer service clubs). It seems that people are simply far too busy with their own lifestyle to be able to consider such organisations these days.

 

People don't join things anymore
