If you've ever sat watching lord of the rings wishing you could be legolas, or seen people running from zombie hordes and thought"I could do better", if you have swung the cardboard tube from inside the wrapping paper and wished it was a sword then LARP could be for you.
Live Action role play is what happens when you cross dungeons and dragons with reenactment and throw in a handful of zombies, witches, knights and horrible giant fungi that live beneath the world and infest peoples brains...
Heroes and Heroines is a midlands based group that runs at least 8 weekend based events a year and will be starting to run taster events in 2014.
Healthy attitude towards getting smacked with latex covered foam weaponry, a sense of humour and good imagination is a must
