Wanted looking for piano room to rent

Hi,
I'm new to Stafford, has just been in here like three months.
Currently I live in near Beaconside, however since one of things that mostly relax me down is playing the piano.
I'm looking for a place to practice. Perhaps, if you have an upright piano in your house and if you'd be willing to rent it for couple of hours a week. I will be so happy to do so.
I'm thinking of 3-5 hours a week, maybe 2 or 3 days I guess I'd be able to spend time for piano.
If there's anyone willing to let your piano room, please let me know.

Hello @polarstar

I dont know anyone with a piano but have you thought about perhaps joining a music group in Stafford where you can meet like minded people?

Or ameteur dramatics where they need musical people?

Hi Carole, thanks for the post.
Yeah I dont know either and don't expect much that there's one. However, it'd be group if there's a music group to join.
Would you tell me any group there in Stafford?
Thanks.

Thank you so much for the info.
It is surprising that there are orchestral and music societies here.
I'm worried that I may not fit to such professional even it's for amateur groups.
Do you play the piano btw?

Well you wont know unless you go a few times and find out.

Why be so defeatist before you have even been?

There might be people just like you there, who knows?

No, I dont play the piano, I am the most unmusical person out there.

Indeed, I am not the kind. It's because it's been a while since I stopped playing the piano as I got a full-time job.
Haha, you can't be the most unmusical person. What's your hobby then?

Just a thought.

What about contacting local schools? Mine can't have been the only Primary that had one - one tends to think that they are not the kind of thing that are in any way easily got rid of, what? Unlikely to fit in the blue bin, that sort of thing.

Reckon there may be many pianos out there that have been gathering dust through lack of use that would be only too glad to be lovingly brought back into action?

Probably need tuning, though, which might cost a few more bob than deemed strictly necessary - is that something you could do @polarstar ? Can't hurt to enquire.
