Looking for someone to shave my face with a cut-throat razor

Being as how it's by birthday in Not Very Long and following the recommendation of a chap at work, I've decided to get a barber to shave me with a cut-throat razor - apparently it's an experience worth having. Has anybody had this done and can recommend someone? Colleague's chap is in Brum and I'd rather not have to go that far if I don't have to...

Bloke on tipping street a few paces off the main high street in town. Traditional gent's barber, I'd bet my last digestive he will be able to offer that service.

Top idea

downside its not a quick process

nicks happen now and again

occasionally looks a bit spotty for a short time afterwards ( or was that just me )

Upside

Feels great

you feel like a real man during the process

Its cheaper than you think

it actually lasts a bit longer before you have to shave again but not much

The cologne or astringent usually stings like the bjs

you can get you nose/eybrows done too ( obviously not with the cutthroat !) Although I believe that a cutthroat haircut was all the rage once ?

The shave is overall a great experience that everyman should do at least once in their life and for some reason if the shaver is italian its even better

Would suggest any of the old school barbers in town ( not hairdressers, although the di I suppose ) for the job .
