No idea what the boird in question is but there are around 60 Twitchers in the Colwich/Rugeley area just now

Only thing i can find for Staffordshire, on the rare bird sighting front, is a cASPIAN gULL...

... though it is a little difficult to believe it would engender such a mass movement.

Anybody know more?

I'd rule nothing out at this stage, though i admit when i first read the thread title i wondered whether you were referring to a European treaty and had developed some sort of speech impediment.

I've had quite a few different species of wild birds to the usual ones feeding in my garden these last few weeks. Wouldn't know if they are rare or not! Probably the ones that every twitcher in the country has been waiting years to see .........
