Is it me or does Mc Donald's in town have one of those mosquito high pitched things that stop young people hanging around it? I walked past and it was a deafening high pitched pulse. Has anyone else noticed it? There is a box on the wall and I have googled it. Looks like one but the person I was with a said she couldn't hear it.

Whenever I have been past there seems to be quite a number of young people standing outside so if they do have one then it doesn't appear to be working.

To be honest, it would be madness for McDonalds to have one anyway since they would be driving away a huge percentage of their target market.

One of our neighbours used something similar to scare off cats but it didn't seem to work. As for using this type of device to get rid of teenagers, I remember being able to turn a deaf ear when my parents called me to do the washing up etc. so I am sure they can ignore this kind of thing.

Yes! I'm glad I'm not the only one that's noticed, eventide I walk past whomever I'm with can't hear it but I can.
