This is probably one for @bpelectric, but somebody else may also know of a source.

I'm looking for a handful of the old-style metal "belt-buckle" style cable clips.

I've just (temporarily) secured the cable to a satellite dish (for the third time) and I would like to do it properly with something that won't fall apart after a couple of years of exposure to daylight.

Not one of the items I use Mr G

But ive got some of these you can have
Thanks. I have plenty of plastic ones in various styles, but they fail after a few years of sunlight and I'm hoping to do it properly for one last time.

I put a few grey 2+E ones there today, but they'll fail before the next election.

The old-style ones would last a thousand years.

I agree the old clips lasted out the installation

You can still buy stainless steel ones but they cost

Yeah, I thought about those sort, but it would be nice if they were easily unclippable at some point in the future.

The old-style were ideal - easy-fix - easy clip and unclip - and ever-lasting - they could even have been plastic-coated, if that makes people happier.

Progress is not always forwards.

I can see me making some specials - I only need half a dozen.

How about running the cable through some plastic conduit you only need about 3 clips per 3 mtr length

I've got a few lengths if you want em

I don't really want to disconnect it - and I have little faith in any plastic components there.

It plays up, now and then, largely due to thrashing round in the wind, I think, and I don't want a total failure to be 'my fault'...

I think I'll just codge up a few metal clips at some point. It's OK for a while again now...
