Our monthly New Act & New Material comedy show returns for November! These free shows are committed to bringing the beating heart grass-roots comedy right to your front door! We'll be showcasing new comedians who are finding their feet in the comedy world, as well as giving professional comics the chance to road-test some brand new material and routines before unleashing it on the major comedy clubs.​

It's cut 'n' paste, D.I.Y., Punk Spirit of real stand-up comedy, as these acts travel from all over the country and leave it all on the stage as they hone their craft right in the middle of your hometown!​

​

Hosted by Stafford's own Rob Halden, with new material from professional comedians Paul Savage and Aaron Twitchen, and the debut of a brand new character from bonkers comedian Roger Swift!​

Entry is completely FREE to this show! The bistro-bar is stocked full of bottled lagers, ales, ciders and they have a great selection of wines and cocktails!

Due to the nature of this lovely venue, late-comers CANNOT be admitted. Doors will close at 8:15 pm and cannot be re-opened during the performances (though there are intermissions).​

I take it your qualifying parenthesis means that late-comers will be admitted during intermissions - any rough idea about when these might be?

At a guess - the layout is such that an entering late-comer would need to walk virtually across the performance area..

The single entrance is directly next to the stage. We can't afford to have this open for any waifs and strays to wander in and disrupt the performance of the comedians.

Rough ideas of intermission times can be updated on the night, once all comedians have arrived and told us how long their performance is going to be. We'll endeavour to update the Forum right at the start of the show on Monday.

Just giving this a thread-bump to encourage the good folk of Stafford to brave the nip in the air and join us for some free laughs on an Autumnal eve! Plenty of warming drinks to be had at Number 15, plus live music and stand-up comedy!
