Sainsbury's aren't going anywhere. They're getting new self-service tills and a change in till layout as part of an ongoing investment in the store ahead of Morrison's opening.

B&Q in their wisdom, have now changed their self-service tills to card payment only. If you want to pay cash, you will need to go to a proper till to pay but most of the time, B&Q don't have a person manning the proper tills.

It's my guess, the new self service tills will be similar to the Asda ones. Small n pokey packing areas.

Every time I go in the self service tills are roped off and out of use. No problem for me as I refuse to use them, but a bit pointless having them if they're never in use.
