Would the Prime Minister join me in congratulating...

Reminds me a bit of the "are you f**ing sorry?" story.

I quite like Lefroy - i once spent an afternoon doing something that meant i was in a position to eavesdrop upon a conversation he was having, and was actually rather impressed by his obviously conciliatory spirit - and even though I never voted for him, and never would, I think the very fact that he cannot see himself as a Conservative Member of whatever shitshow of a Parliament is to come, means he's at least on the right side of history.

Really?

Oh Withnail, you do make me chuckle, you are like a little Troll hiding in the shadows waiting for it to go dark so you can crawl out and make some inane posts or attack someone for their grammar in such a pedantry way that is actually quite sad. You remind me so much of my Husband. I am sure that you are a charming and witty person in real life but when you get behind a keyboard you just seem to turn into a bit of a dick. Life is really far too short for all your sarcasm and negativeness. For your own health I really think you should turn off your devices, stand naked in the rain and get a really good massage. Forums should be about people sharing thoughts and opinions in a friendly and humorous way, attacking and sarcasm is just so 2015 and most of us have grown up.

After I was grubbing about in the bushes and trees at the back of the half demolished MRI last August trying to get a photograph before it was all gone (I worked there for a while in 1965, a state of the art factory then,) I emerged onto Fairway and met someone who had been at Kingston at nearly the same time as me, and currently was still working at the main works of the Ingo (it's always going to be the 'Ingo' to me.)

As we gazed at the sad remains of the MRI I asked how things were going at the main works. "It's pretty much all gloom and doom," he replied.

Now I hear GE are to close the Rugby electric motor plant, which manufactures a considerable amount of power plant for the Royal Navy, as well as Commonwealth navies. The plan is to move the production to France !!

So I too am deeply unimpressed by 'self-congratulating' Tory MP's blathering on while the nation's industry is flushed down the crapper.

Next time a Tory MP waves a union flag in front me, it's going deep, deep into a certain orifice. :grr:
