I lost something once that I'd put in a safe place. I'd forgotten where the safe place was, and then .. I forgot what it was I lost. Then I forgot I'd even lost something.

Strangely I found something the other day I never even knew I had. :teef:

The trouble with limping about on a gammy ankle is it very quickly gives you a gammy hip on the other side, so now everything hurts.

Got the neighbours cat imprisoned in my house at the moment so that the blokes fitting my new back door can get on with their job. ... fuss cat decided to keep trying out his 'new giant cat flap' and standing half way through the door as they were trying to get the bottom panel in

Thanks for your time,
Royal Mail Group

They're awesome, we put things in them, seal them and send them to other people who have to open them to remove the contents.
They certainly do what they say on the packet:

NOUN
1A flat paper container with a sealable flap, used to enclose a letter or document.

Cannot fault them in this regard.

I know where you're coming from with this. I stopped reviewing things when I was asked to review some metal washers. I mean ... how do you review a f****** washer ?

100% pissed off and need to vent. I've waited weeks for someone come and fit the new loo.
Had a plumber all lined up for this morning at 09.30. He rang at 09.45 to ask where he could park round here cos of unloading his tools, fair enough, I'd imagine they are heavy. I replied, that the only place I could suggest was Sainsburys, because it's a resident parking area, and unfortunately I don't have a visitors permit to lend to anyone, whether they be family, friend or tradesman.
2 minutes later at 09.47 I got a text saying he was sorry but it was too far to carry his tools and that I'll have to get someone else. I realise a lot will sympathise with him, yes it's awkward parking wise round here.
I'd changed my day off specially for him, and i've cleaned the bloody house specially!
Rant over.

On the plus side, still no work on the Doxey Road boating lake due to the floods.
I'm expecting, or is that wishing? 1 of them piling machines go floating off towards Sainsburys...............

Having got the washing and ironing up to date, I've just consigned my summer shirts and shorts to the loft and cracked open the winter woolies.

Went for a walk, found a dog, got it to follow me to safety away from the ring road and went searching for owner. Located owner (well lady looking after it), then hung onto my 'find' while the lady went chasing around the estate after the other 2 escapees. Pleased to say all 3 escapees safely back in their home ....and I got to cuddle a lovely little dog for a while :)

Well done @staffordjas x

In my area today, according to Facebook, a well known criminal was knocking on doors & casing houses.... He was, infact, trying to find the owner of a lost dog too. Ho-hum.

I'd earlier found some post on the floor that the postie had dropped  and delivered that to a house down the road as well . Was hoping it was going to come in threes and I'd find a few notes fluttering along the floor without an owner in sight, but wasn't to be ...

 Oh @Glam, I really feel for you.
I'm glad son is finally out of his city centre flat as he had similar problems with so many furniture deliveries etc being aborted because the drivers weren't allowed to park on any of the nearby roads. ( Had to get his mates to help move him out and carry everything to cars parked quite a way away , as 'Man with a Van' was very cheerful and happy to quote prices until he heard the address then "Oh......." and that was the last we heard from him! )
