250,000th poster!
Hi all, quite some time ago there was a post regarding personal online security along the line of how long it would take to actually locate a person dependant upon how much online activity they have. Does anyone remember?
Poster may have have been @Tilly in the John Marwood days.
I'm sure @Gramaisc will find it, he remembers EVERYTHING!

Mmm, we would need to remember/guess some uncommon words used in the text of that post.

Take a trip to a chemist and see if they have anything homeopathic that can help. Belladonna might be the thing but the pharmacist will advise, if they're any good.
After still not being able to hear a bloody thing out of the one ear after over a week, did actually go to the chemist on Friday. Pharmacist said , seeing as my blood pressure is stablised on meds , can actually take Sudafed for 3 days only . So whacking them down me .Also got menthol chrystals to try to steam the blockage away that's stopping ears draining.

Most disappointed this morning to find I'd just been dreaming that I was ok again ! :( Still can't hear , but pharmacist is checking ear out again on Wednesday.

Hope you are feeling better than earlier @That-Crazy-Rat-Lady

It was a sort of tick box exercise:
Do you use Facebook, are you on LinkedIn, do you partake in online surveys etc.
More ticks, the easier you are to find/ hack etc.
The reason I mention it is that Mrs T is trying to 'disappear' herself from 'the net'.
Pointless if you ask me cos it ain't gonna happen. But I let her get on with it.
If she knew of the online tools I have access to for work she'd have a meltdown.

Thinking I'm going to have to drive to sons to check his house whilst he's away tomorrow and visit his docs as a 'visitor'. Rang our docs earlier.....no chance of even a phone appointment anytime now or in the future . :ohno:

(Plenty of appointments for 'paid for' services on the booking website though......)

Something seriously wrong here in Stafford, when son and his mates in various doctors in Worcester can't prebook appointments, but just ring in the morning they want to go and can always get in that day!

Can you change surgeries? I'm at Gnosall and it's great. I don't often go but had to last week and got 3 different options when I rang up at about 10.30. They have urgent care practitioners that you can see too; and I know some people are funny about not seeing a doctor but I've always found them to be great.

I was willing to see anyone....nurse , nurse practitioner, doctor, phone appointment , even just ask a doctor to write a prescription for antibiotics as they have notes from last week, and I was told to ring if no better for some.... just bloody ridiculous! All they could say was ring up sometime later to see if anyone cancels (along with all the other people ringing to see if anyone has cancelled).

Might see if it's possible to get onto the Weston Rd books. Same practice , not allowed to book with them, but can see their appointments and they have more available and nicked our best doctors !

Checking traffic conditions for son driving to the airport........for some reason typing the usual AA Traffic reports brought Alcoholics Anonymous results :o Going to be bombarded with adverts for that now on my phone

Stafford Health & Well-being seems to be much better than most in town. You do sometimes get prebooked availability but not had too many issues getting same days

I'm registered at Gnosall and they're brilliant, never any problem getting in.

I went for an interview for a receptionist job in a Gnosall surgery years ago. Person with the interview appointment in front of me , who got it , knew all the staff and made it obvious she'd already got the job !
