Spent all morning being called the most stupidest person ever, for bringing a fridge home that doesn't fit. Even more moaning as I 'walked it' from the lounge , but then got stuck whilst struggling to get it through the kitchen door into the adjoining garage and had to ask for help.

BUT....pleased with myself after 7 hours of hard slog rearranging everything that was in the garage tidily into the shed. He now admits the garage looks much neater with the fridge sitting proudly next to the freezer, with much more room with all the cans and bottles stacked neatly in / on the fridge instead of cluttering the floor . Won't admit that I was actually right....but I am :D

(I'd thought my car was dropping apart with the weight as I heard clanging noises throughout the journey home with it last night ....Not going to mention the fact that it would have been easier to struggle with last night without all the glass shelves and thawing ice still in the ice box  )

One would hope you will go down the skull and crossbones on the bonnet route @tek-monkey . A friend of mine favoured that and I always knew it was him approaching.

10 year old focus 1.6 diesel, only done about 100 miles so far but liking it. Need more practice parking though, handles a lot different to the fiesta I learned in.

I did worry when that bearded young man passed his test, seeing how many times the bikes put him in hospital!

Both good to practice and learn in , get a few 1000 miles under your belt and treat yourself to a REAL car later :P

I'm sure it's a coincidence … but both my Satnav and Dashcam needed an immediate update the day he passed his test …. :buddy:

    What's wrong with a Focus?
And what do you deem to be a real car?

Also the family hatch for drivers that actually enjoy driving.

    Great cars.

Read my post properly and you would see that i said both are good to learn in and practice . i didnt say anything about whats wrong with a Focus whatsoever.
Now, seeing as you asked so nicely , my perfect car is one that is reliable and cheap to run. bought and paid for out of my own money without having a huge debt hanging over my head for years that once its paid for it becomes mine but is by then knackered.

I dont usually bite but seeing as you seem to be implying something from your comment and my situation i thought i'd remind you that one of those cars you mention has been sitting in your driveway rotting away for the past 8 months after failing its MOT.

Just because im classed as a carer doesnt mean i dont work , i can tell you for sure i do many more hours in my job than you do in yours.
Putting the laughing face at the end of your post just shows how shallow and sad that comment really is.
