@Thehooperman ... I'm not taking the pee or anything. It's just that 'my neck hurts.' :P

Are any nearby shops open? They might not like the queue running across their frontages.

Slater's is open next door but not the shops to the North of Butler's.

It would be ok if they allowed say 8 groups to queue across the steeet and turn them back to queue the opposite way but this lot were totally blocking the road.

Number of cases quoted is the number of identified cases, not the number of people currently with Covid-19 which is probably significantly higher. It is also worth noting that the people who show little in the way of symptoms seem to be the people who are most susceptible to long term effects - kidney damage, heart problems, strange strokes, other neurological problems, blood clots .., And the low symptom people also seem not to develop immunity.

You're right, those are combine harvesters. But that's not grain, that's people, being sucked into the vast corporate maw in order to be processed into good, well behaved compliant and obedient citizens.

(Runs out to buy 10 rolls of bacofoil in order to make multiple layer hat. ) :P

(PS ... also renews membership of Saddle Shaped Earth Society.) :embarrass::P

Made me ill and spoilt the good night in we'd planned ..... Hammering at the door, a private rental landlord (backed up by his massive sidekick) demanding to see hubby (and wouldn't tell me what it was about, until hubby refused to come out as he was watching the footie game he'd paid to watch). Hubby comes out after being accused of an altercation with the landlords tennant.......turns out messages passed on meant he got the wrong person as nothing at all to do with us!
Landlord apologised for getting it completely wrong, but shook me up and completely spoilt a good night!

That was all after not checking my receipt in the butchers , as I usually do, and looking at it later realising I've been charged £6 extra for 'meat claws' which I never had (never mind got no idea what they are) Must have been left on the till from a previous customer....

Everything else aside, why the hell is it the landlord’s business anyway? Unless said altercation includes smashing up his property it’s nothing to do with him

After an almost sleepless night , and nightmares when I did doze off...

Just been educated whilst getting my refund for the 'Meat Claws' added mistakenly to my bill. Found out they are a device for shredding Pork etc, not as I'd imagined a box of animal hoofs/feet complete with claws  .

Had a nice early morning walk on my way back, observing so many interesting things that I've missed on my usual fast power walking around the streets over the years . Now feeling much better , and the day has restarted good ....:)

wanna see my snake?
Thanks all.

We're sure she had it months ago, before testing was available outside hospitals, and she's not been right since. She had a previous negative test but the zoë app said she needed another, and that one was positive.

She's OK, well no worse than she has been for months which isn't great! I sure as hell don't want this, I'm staying away from humans where possible for a while longer.

After going out to neighbours for drinks this afternoon we got home in time to watch Alex, our son talking about tonight’s match on BT Sport.
He was only on for about 20 seconds but great for us to watch him being asked questions by Rio Ferdinand.
