It’s our wedding anniversary today, so we decided that we’d make an occasion of it since there's not much else going on.

We decided to go to the pub for a lock in. *

Got dressed up, make up, skirt, high heels, the works, (that’s me, not the husband).
I’d quite forgotten how to do it, it’s been so long.

Ordered lovely food. Opened a bottle of champagne.

*Lock in, ..... this is our room at the bottom of the garden.

Anyway, turns out that the electrics kept tripping, so it was freezing.
And husband got a bit cross because he couldn’t fix it.

Lasted 5 minutes then came inside and put our pyjamas on.

Husband now watching the football which is what he wanted to do really, and I’m cracking on with the jigsaw.

Rock n Roll.
Happy Anniversary!* Next time get him in the makeup & high heels.

*It's ours very soon, 15yrs.....already I have no idea what to get/do, but at least I remembered this year.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I must say I preferred the Chase when it was snowy. Today it's just damp and muddy and there are lots of weirdos around. Neither the proactive pooches or I particularly enjoyed this morning's walk. Will try later at dusk to see if the weirdo thing is better.

In other news, I've had to relocate working from my usual office at home to the house as the heating has packed up. This has not been conducive to work as there are too many distractions and I don't find Zooming easy without a big screen. May have to actually drive to work tomorrow and use the RV as my office again (my work office having been taken over by accounts in order to enable social distancing) until the plumber comes on Monday.

:strange:

2nd visit to the Dr's in 2 days, I didn't even have the usual fight over antibiotics or the days to take them (they usually try to fob me off saying they don't want to prescribe, and 3 days worth is sufficient).

Straight in with 7days of the good stuff.

I'm confused. :?:

Mrs T made a loaf this morning, it's two thirds gone already.
I made one on Saturday night and it all went that same night! Hubby couldn't stop eating it , it was so nice. It didn't have time to go cold . After the christmas attempt went terribly wrong by rushing it and not following instructions in my impatience , decided to follow the instructions to the letter this time . Couldn't believe how good it came out :)

Trouble is , hubby now expects a perfect loaf everytime :hmm:

Just had a lovely 2 hour walk spoilt right near the end, when some b@stard swerved their car into the gutter which was full of dirty slush and leaves and covered me head to foot . Obviously on purpose as there was no other cars in sight on the wide road ! How can people be such prats ??? :ohno:

We got our bread maker out not far into the first lockdown when getting bread etc was only possible with a small sacrifice to the God's and the promise of my first born *son's soul. Obviously this couldn't carry on so after buying a huge sack of flour from Amazon and a very large pack of yeast, funny enough because hardly anyone wanted such big bags, they had plenty. We haven't looked back since. We now make white and wholemeal.

*I only have girls and there is no chance more lol
