This is interesting, what actually happened?

I think sometimes if you're not careful plugging something in you can make a bit of uncomfortable but not high amp contact with the supply perhaps.

In other news, I've been in Brum for day 2 of 3 of setting up a stupidly largescale virtual reality experience. I'm tired and achey and still have the actual event to do.

Tom Kerridge has just had me in stitches with his annnouncement of a contestant spending '24 hours grinding' during his cooking show, The Carer has sent it off as a suggestion for BBC Radio Ones innuendo Bingo.... Hoping it still exists...

Need to carpet an office, but can't get what we wanted delivered in time. Thought I'd look at carpet tiles, fudge me they're expensive!

Probably not a great deal of help as they're more than likely gone, but I noticed when cutting through the Records Office about a month back to get to Aldi's that there was a skip on the left hand side over flowing with carpet tiles, to the point that they had to stack them next to the skip as well.

Muffin. Got her until Saturday.
Smashing old mutt, her best mate Minnie was put down last year and she lost an eye a month ago.

I know that some of you townsfolk think that our scarecrows are odd and a bit, well, actually scary.

We’ve seen loads of people stop and take photos of the maypole dancers telling us how wonderful they are.
I got chatting to a couple today who had come from Great Wyrley. He’d driven through the other day but came back today with his wife to show her. Lots of walkers passing through are taking photos and giving us lots of positive comments.

But this new addition, by our war memorial is getting people talking.
This isn’t the best photograph, the angle and lighting aren’t too good, but driving through the village and seeing this full size soldier laying a wreath is very poignant.

Kind of reminds me of Legoland actually, which was a highlight of my childhood.

Just saved myself £50 .Checked the price of a previously booked (free cancellation) holiday , to see what I'd have paid if booking today. Price gone down, so rang them to say I wanted the lower price. Receptionist wouldn't change it....... so cancelled the old booking and re-booked the same room at the lower price :D
