Truview has been removed from their wholesalers website (euronics).

I have used Truview numerous times. The last time was a fridge freezer about a month ago for my mother. They came to the house, checked it fitted and a few days later came and installed it. They came when they said, took all the packaging away...........bish bosh, sorted.

No doubt I may have saved a ten or twenty quid going on the web but without any sort of service. Personally I would rather pay a bit more and not have any grief.

We used Truview for the first time when we got a new cooker. Excellent service , came out smack on the time they said they would and they arranged for the gas fitter to meet them at the house at the same time they arrived. Couldn't have got any better service and thought we had finally found a good place for any future purchases. Would be a real shame if they have gone :(

If Truview have closed for good then it really will be a loss for the town, for as you say their customer service and support was excellent. I've used them for donkey's years for TVs and white goods because they took away all the faffing around that I can't be bothered with after faffing around on behalf of others all day.

Think they made a mistake when moving to Mill Street though...

Morrisons will not start til likely late next year. First they are extending the car park to cater for the car park currently on riverside which will close as a temporary fix until the multi storey and underground car park for m&s is built. Planning permission has I think now been passed to knock down the houses and health centre on north walls.

Oh good, somewhere else for pikeys to sell their stolen goods! Or you could buy at Brighthouse on credit, sell at crack converters then declare yourself bankrupt....

I see that the Cash for Claims 'lawyers' have gone from the corner of Princes Street and Stafford Street, where the travel agents were previously - maybe we'll get something useful now...?

All the cookers, tvs and fridges are inside its just really dark. Crying shame if they went.

Gutted! I remember going to see Sudhi (sp?) when he was in his small shop on the Marston Road. I was quite young at the time - it felt like an Aladdin's cave!
