New Stafford Business Directory section!

We now have a Stafford Business Directory, which you can access either from the link on the main page, or via the Directory link in the nav-bar at the top of The Forum.

There aren't many categories at the moment, but that's because I didn't want to spend time populating it with a load of categories, only to have everyone say "That's guff! You should do it like this!"

So, please let me know if you would like a top-level category added, or a sub-category, and I shall go with popular consensus. You can then all start adding your listings, should you so desire.

Let me know if you have any suggestions for how it should be used/changed/improved/etc.

Done! Once you have created a listing, you can add it to multiple categories, so feel free to add yours to Clothes & Fashion and/or Sports & Outdoors as you see fit.

I have temporarily disabled the Directory, as some elements aren't working with the new style. Once I have ironed these out, it will be back.

Not at the moment, but I will make sure one is added. That's one of the reasons for this thread, really; so that people can ask for Categories to be added.

I didn't want to just arbitrarily add a load of Categories off the top of my head, as this would lead to many laying dormant, with no entries under them. I will add them ad hoc, per people's requests.

I'll let you know once the Directory is back.

I'd second the handmade crafts / craft businesses as Mrs Dabbler runs a baby gifts / keepsakes business which is mostly handmade products. This is where directories become a bit of a dilemma, as I was going to suggest a Gifts category, but I think Mrs D would probably fit that category and the handmade one!
