Yeah, there was better planning for this one, and the stalls had more food, but the rain really did kill the atmosphere last night. There was only a fraction that stayed till the end. Shame tbh.

I wonder if they could do a deal with the Guildhall to use some of the space inside for stalls if the weather's bad?

Went and had a good poke around, the Bratwurst were particularly tasty!

Held out as much as we could given the weather, but a great turn our non-the-less.

Agree that the choice seemed a bit better and the queue at Gyros stand either tells us the food was amazing or the ads were very effective! Well attended yet again and yes, when the rain kicked in it was those with brollies that were ok!
Observations for improvement - I thought that, walking round the stalls, some of the boards were hard to read, due to the darkness, unless you had a lit stall and it was all clear. Maybe have some extra external lights or have vendors to have their own free standing lights? As last time, I stopped at the Thai stall in front of Boots and the Thai Beef Curry was excellent so next time I shall do the vegan, pizza or chicken stall. The non food vendors added some variety and think some of them will be received for some xmas gifts.

@Admin - any chance we could change name of the thread to reflect the new name for the venture - or go for something more neutral like 'Nighttime Market Square Events'

Edit - Title changed.
