I’ve had many a forgotten night/ and some amazing memorable nights in Narita drinking Asahi very late into the evening, stretching into the early hours.
Or it could have been Sapporo.

Whatever, lovely memories of happy happy nights in Japan.

Well just in case they’re right...
So far I’ve bought 6 months supply of

Rice, a zillion different types of pasta, tinned tomatoes, tomato purée, olive oil, jars of olives, tuna fish.
I also don’t want to not be able to bake so I’ve bought, flour, caster sugar, icing sugar, baking powder, loads of nuts.

Just in case anyone is interested,
I’ve already run out of all my baking stuff.
I’ve just made a cake for someone then went to look in my emergency stash.

No flour, no caster sugar, no icing sugar.
I obviously make more cakes than I thought I did.

Time to restock.

Stepson went to one of his regular clinics at North Staffs Hospital (Royal whatever it is now). All the clinics there are now advising their patients to stockpile their medicines. Seemingly other hospitals & clinics are doing the same.

Hubby not able to get some works orders from abroad towards end of march , as ( something like....I was only half listening) their hauliers won't deliver as not sure if they will be able to get back again and don't want to be stuck.

For me, a pasta based meal will never be an action of regret.

A gorgeous home made sauce made with fresh tomatoes, white wine, fresh herbs. Simmer for 10 minutes then throw in some salmon.
Add spaghetti.
Lovely.
