The footings are in for a substantial building, Flats, as I said, and unless the plans have changed the pub will follow by being converted in due course. It was all over the Newsletter 12+ months ago.

My understanding is that the pub conversion was originally rejected by planning, but will happen within a couple of years! Best thing to do is pop in for a pint (or 5) and ask the Landlady.

Wasn't there a murder there too? The Mum of the Emery's(the funeral Services), definitely a family member, and spooky how they have their funeral parlour there now.

Flats! And in due course the Greyhound will follow by being converted into flats, sad loss of a "proper" boozer, for old gits like me! Always a favourite venue in the White Cross Darts League during the 80's! My mates regular, so he's going to have to find another one!
