We have had a greater spotted woodpecker drumming on the tree at the bottom of next doors garden for three days nearly all day! Some times being at home in the sun has some has some benefits!:stafford:

We have had Reed Buntings for the first time this year. It is always an exciting time when new ingredients visit the garden.

Great to see the Common Crane on the site recently aquired by Stafforshire Wildlife, (I assume it's on their bit of Radford) Only started breeding in the UK in 2007, so lets hope it stops, and finds a mate. (Unlikely as it is a bit far from East Anglia!:raise:) But by just being there its a bit of a coup for Staffs Wildllife and all the work they have done in that area!:stafford:

The Common Crane? The pecker still is druming and the thought of getting down to Radford to avoid the beggar is exciting me!:aboot:

Yes, that one - anyone know if it's still about?

If not, perhaps i could come round for a glimpse of your pecker?
