DO NOT consume the SPAM (copyright symbol here if I know how) ready made Spam fritters. Spotted some in Sainsbury the other week and was suddenly filled with School Dinner nostalgia.

They were beyond awful. There were two left over and I left them out for the boyf to try as fish bait - mission unsuccessful.

The butcher on the sandon road does 'scottish' pies, I am told they are the best you will get around here, never tried them myself.

They the same as scotch pies? If its the same butcher I'm thinking of, he used to sell some pretty good stuff. Even got real haggis, not the supermarket crap we get.

I think it might be, a really good butcher, from what I've heard.

butcher on the sandon road is skill, apart from all the usual meat in non packaged quality form, he also puts some interesting burgers together for the summer. kangaroo, ostrich etc.. his sausage is something to behold as well. meh.

We've got a pastie shop where I work, on the same site in fact. Amusingly called A Taste of Cornwall.

Was a bit hesitant at first but sampled a few last week. Absolutely divine. Can't wait to get the next lot in.
