Can anyone recommend a photographer, I just want a few pictures taken of my kids and also a couple of family shots, ideally I'd like them done at home rather than in a studio and I'd like to have the copyright to the pictures included in the cost rather than being ripped off for individual prints.

Why not contact a local photographic group?

They more often than not like the practice and therefore will probably do it for nothing.
