Is this better, Perry? No need to clean the window - just grab a copy of Lightroom. I took a similar photo a few years ago, of a sparrowhawk and a starling having an altercation. I took the photo through glass with the flash going off - I didn't have time to adjust the settings; I just had to go for it. Anyway, after a bit of editing in Lightroom, it came up a treat.

A couple from my hols. The first was taken at around 8:45pm with just the Nikon kit lens, and without a tripod or even resting the camera on a wall.

I love both those shots Mikinton, particularly the attitude of the biker cat in the second!

Initially the cat was sat very prettily in front of the bikes, and was still sat when I'd finished setting up the camera (a Nikon 5100 with a swivelling viewer, so I don't have to get down too low). But when I bent down and lined-up the shot, the cat started walking towards me ...... which I think improved the shot, though I guess we'll never know.

I had only just managed to get a copy of lightroom, didn't realise it could tidy it up that much though.
ive only had the camera a few months, and lightroom even less, so im still on a steep learning curve at the minute.
