Don't bite my head off please, I have no idea what half these acronyms mean.
So, what's a CPL??
Very good point!
Circular polarising filter.
Circular Polarised Lens, it reduces reflected light so great for shots of water. Well, unless you want the light anyway!
Thank you both xx
So you have a ten quid bit of glass on the end of a prime bit of optical ware worth several hundred pounds
Never understood that one mesen
It feels like shooting through the windscreen of a car
I don't spend ten quid on a UV filter. I pay more for a better quality one. It's just a little protection. If you don't understand that then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I use neutral density filters based on the weather when photographing or creating videos when using my drones .
They can cut through sun glare and also takes out the glistening you get from the sea .
Wouldnt be without them.
Try shooting contre-jour with the filter and without
I have done and been successful both ways.
I'll get me coat
Is it a multi-coat?
Does it unscrew?
I just hang it over the end of the pointy thing until the powder thing explodes

Shouldn't that little cutie be called 'Gnasher'?
Technically yes as Gnasher was based on the Affenpinscher. But having said that, I’d rather call a dog Dennis than Gnasher.
Well I didn't know that. Little cutie, give him an extra hug & good boy from us
No one told you not to feed him after midnight?
