I have no problems with updates etc. In fact I have a couple of friends involved with up coming weddings, One even tagged her future daughter in law on Facebook when I posted about the Mini Selfie Pod hire.

If getting pulled becomes a problem, (ooh, matron!), could you construct a Perspex box, so that the picture is safely visible as it emerges, but not physically accessible until it drops when it's finished?

I've already been thinking about this, but plan to see how it goes first. If I get called out to paper jams because of pulling then I'm most likely to rebuild the main pod cabinet so that the printer has enough space to be inside the base with the prints ejecting inside the cabinet at the side in a similar way to how you've suggested.

The biggest problem is that these printers give of some heat and have many vents - which is why so many photobooth operators use them outside of the cabinet. I shall have to wait and see. So far it's done 3 hours at a booking and has another 4 hours left to go. No phone call YET - fingers crossed!

I've been back out already as younger kids have pulled a picture before it's cut and caused a jam. Might be building another box sooner than I thought.
