PLUMBING

Had an excellent service from Lewis plumbing last week - he moved a radiator and fitted a kitchen for me. I know I am biased because i'm his secretary but i keep going into the kitchen and looking at it and I am very impressed with his work. Excellent service - kept me up to date with progress and always came round when he said he would. Trying to get a quote from a kitchen fitter was a nighmare so i just asked him if he could do it and he said yes without hesitation.

I'm so pleased that this is finally done, i have waited 21 years to actually get it turned into a utility room, It used to be an outside coal shed and outside toilet. I had loads of people quote stupid prices, but in the end I got it plastered by Chris a guy who I know from the Star and Garter pub, excellent plastering job. The kitchen was fitted by Lewis plumbing, kitchen looks fantastic, all done a reasonable afforable price

Hi @arthur. I just saw that you'd had some plastering work done. How much did Chris charge you for your utility room as my kitchen is not a lot bigger than that and it could do with re-plastering? Cheers.

I need a new electric shower fitting as mine must be getting on a bit and it's started to leak at the base. I've isolated the mains for now but could do with someone to take a look asap.

The source of my plumbing emergency this week?
nut.jpg

A Broken compression nut on a isolation valve beneath the bathroom basin
The compression part had fractured and fell to pieces when removed (It wasn't over tightened)

The water dripping from the kitchen light fitting down my neck gave it away! Luckily caught before major damage !!
