eh? since when does a chemist sell cocktails? unless they are going to sell some old school laudanum, or morphine linctus, in which case sign me up..

perhaps their target demographic is affluent middle class drug takers.. "the apothecary" makes it sound like the waitrose of crack dens lol..

The big Post House sticker half way up the glass wall at the back overlooks my desk so I'm looking forward to watching them change that.
I'ts a shame it's not a name more in keeping with the buildings heritage but I guess the Chetwynd Centre and the Sheridan Centre have already been used!

well i did not know that, thanks.. i knew the word, but had only ever heard / used it in the context of an old fashioned chemist..

An apotheca was just a storehouse in Roman times, you could keep anything you like in one, although wine was a common enough item to find inside.
