Premier of local Film - Stafford Music Scene - The Rockumentary

Ok boys and girls here's a date for your new christmas diaries.

Local Film company Jasper Films will Premier a Film about
the Stafford Music Scene
at Stafford Gatehouse
on Jan 12th.

It's a partnership event with the Theatre, Jasper Films, Redspot and Culturegen and believe me it's very good! The film has a trailer here http://www.film-studios.co.uk/
The show will feature at least 3 bands and 3 acoustic acts throughout the building as well as the film and we have agreed a top admin price of £3 and hopefully some deals on beers. So come on - lets support the scene and make it a date!

er, i don't think this is a music event splew.. i doubt there will be mention of hardcore, let alone an appearance by mr. nex himself..

It jolly well is bobby! There are a few bands playing, but i'm pretty sure altern8 won't be making an appearance in the flesh or the film..

:clap: BIG UP CHRIS ATKINSON OF JASPER FILMS! (pretty sure that's the correct surname...sorry if not Chris! :) )

This was a really good film, and generally a great night! An interesting insight into the bands currently holding up the Stafford music scene to begin with, followed by performances by about 4 bands and a really good singer/pianist called Lucy Fielding, who to my astonishment was only 16! Special mention to poetsbumcheeks and his mate who played their set in the bar area. Not only was this very entertaining, but also meant i didn't have to go anywhere for a beer!

I spoke to Chris afterwards, and he was telling me about the next project, Hayfever. A chilling story of a group of lads who discover a body in a field disguised as a scarecrow. As far as i can remember (and i'd had quite a few bottles of organic lager by this stage), it's being filmed in the Ford, with local actors etc...i reckon we should get some Forumites in it. Anyone got a penchant for acting??

sounds like good shiz, shame i wasn't around to partake.. would have been interesting to hear bumcheeks' mental meanderings set to music as well lol..
