Well, I've just has a good look at that one (it is in Market Street) and I wonder how secure it really is. There's an obstructed screw into each of three separate paviors but, if the screws don't go through into something much more substantial underneath, then I suspect that it wouldn't be too hard to shake the whole thing free and run off with it, bricks and all.

My informant said that some sort of (probably) epoxy resin was involved when they were mounted - we'll see.....

Time will tell.
