Pumpkin Jam

I have acquired a few jars of pumpkin jam. What can I make with it? Short of putting it on toast or making tarts I'm a bit lost. My only experience of pumpkin was years ago when I tried to use up the middle from a carving pumpkin and it was nasty stuff. I found out later that they aren't really for eating so yeah it probably was nasty. I do really like butternut squash however.
I'm still trying to talk myself into opening one of the jars and trying it lol.

Could you use it in a cake? As a jammy filling, or as a drizzle?

I made pumpkin soup once, it was vile!!!

My commiserations on receiving pumpkin jam (who have you pissed off?) ;)

The carer says, use it as a base in a Feta/spinich/roasted red pepper quiche/tart.... Blind bake pasry, spread pumpkin jam in base as pound coin thickness, then mix feta/pepper/spinich with eggs, top & bake....

Jamie Oliver says it's lovely...

Bake sponge, cover with pumpkin jam, then sprinkle dessicated coconut all over.... Old style school pudding....

I really don't like feta but thank him for the recipe, I'll tell my friend who does.
