You knows it
Went in tonight for the first time since the reopening and the place is certainly looking alot cleaner (even the pint glasses)!

It is a bit disturbing to here just how grim things were especially in the cellar though!

Got a lovely cheese and onion pasty and scotch egg in there too :)

perhaps vestibule would have been an option, I seem to recall Mr Chuck Berry using it as a 'line rhyme' in My Ding-a-Ling............

I sit corrected. Will try and make posts more accurate in future, more London Pride may help, then again.

there are only so many times people can say "it looks great in there now, real improvement, etc." lol.. i think now the initial surprise is over, we're all just settling in to it being our regular boozer again!

no it is a little quiet..maybe the euphoria of the railway re-opening has fizzled out.

we'd like to invite you all to celebrate graces birthday tomorrow(20.11.09).she will be 25 and i reckon time to trade her in?!?!!?and no the drinks aren't free i'm afraid!!

i should also let you know about our boxing night fancy dress party. we will be open from 12 as normal but from 7pm onwards if you are not dressed like a pillock you smell!! all the family will be welcome so lets have a great,if not strangely attired, night.

we also plan to continue the port and stilton tradition in the near future, from which we hope to raise some more funds for our services. thank's to all who have already donated we hope to raise enough to send out at least 10 shoeboxes full of gifts and essentials, whith some christmas cards and well wishes from us all. it is not much but we hope the gesture will show some of our men and women how proud and gratefull we are.

and dont forget the jam night which we are hoping cheyenne will be hosting the first week of december.
