Hi does anyone have any recommendations for acupuncture and/or massage? Has anyone used The Crescent clinic on Burton Manor Road?

You could always try enquiring at the college? I'd imagine it would be cheaper for a start.

yep-just searching now-mind you as i'm already in a great deal of pain i'm not sure I want a learner-driver sticking pins in me!!! I know they all have to learn so i'm not being horrible...I've been a guinea pick at other colleges where I've lived for hair cuts etcs but never acupuncture.

Can anyone recommend a good chiropractor i was in soooooooo much pain last night from the femoral nerve problem i have. I I've never used a chiropractor before - never had problems with my back or legs before - but this femoral nerve problem is killing me. The pain is excruciating i need to see what can be done about it. I've looked for Stafford chiropractors but i just wanted to know if anyone has every tried it or if you could recommend any one

Thanks gramaisc i've loked at that - it was my starting point,i want to try to get it with someone asap so any recomendations from forumites would be helpful

@arthur Didn't the Dr / consultant give you any physiotherapy exercises or arrange for you to see someone about this? Was it caused as a result of the stroke? (Don't worry about answering if I'm being to personal!).

Please make sure that your Drs are aware of how much pain you are in & keep on at them until they do something!

Thanks for the link; littleme I’ve been reading everything I can about it. Doc says I could have done it at any time – he didn’t know if it was linked to other illness. I saw neurologist in Stafford last week, I’ve been so ill for last few years with stroke like symptoms but vascular consultant thinks its neurological problems so I’m have genetic sceening in the next few weeks. I've had test to rule out other illness's - gentic screening is the last resort to indentify it. Only consolation is that my brothers and sisters have no signs or symtoms of it neither do my kids so doc thinks it spontaneous mutation. (Its not too personal or private to dicuss on the forum if it can help someone else then thats good)
