As a former College employee, I can't help myself...

...it's Riverbank.

I find it almost impossible not to proof their Facebook posts too. I have to scroll past, really quickly, to stop myself.

That's my confession. Thank you for listening.

The thread title appears to have been altered now - in case anybody searches for it.

Thanks to whoever did that. I can sleep easily now.

And yes, I know I should get out more. I corrected the pricing on the biscuits in the supermarket tonight. The assistants pretended to be grateful but I think they were really pleased when I left.

As a person wits a job to pick faults in software, I approve of this.

I can definitely recommend this restaurant - I went there with a party of 23 last night and the food and the service was excellent.
Hi Arthur,

Thank you for your feedback, I have passed your comments to the restaurant manager - I'm sure the students will be please to hear it too.

We will be running a 3 for 2 courses offer throughout January for all our customers so call us on 01785 275481 or email trainingrestaurants@staffordcoll.ac.uk. Quote River16 when booking :)

Will be there on Tuesday for Burns night :D

Also, this was taken from an internal memo but I'm sure they won't mind me sharing. Shows what a great job the staff and students do there:

More great news! We are one of only 10 colleges in the country, to be awarded the AA Rosette. The Riverbank Restaurant became the first in the county to be given this prestigious award. The AA attended the Riverbank Restaurant in November which is staffed by four lecturers and students on hospitality and catering courses, and the AA reported that there was "excellent food", "excellent facilities" and a "a good level of service and realistic skill sets". BRILLIANT!

I'm going to the Riverbank restaurant in March on a theme night. No idea what the theme is yet but looking forward to it.

Up to now I've been very impressed with the reservation process. Excellent customer service.
