"Rocket car" in Stone.

The last few times I have gone past here, there has been something that looks very like a blue rocket-powered car parked along the side of the building, behind the line of parked cars.

Anybody know what it's about?

It may not be 'real', as it does not seem, from my momentary glances, to have a canopy for a driver to see out of.

I have been unable to obtain a picture of it - so far.

Ah.

If I could have seen the 'steering arrangement', I might have surmised that it would be unstable at 600mph on Bonneville salt flats.

The one in Stone is much more tubular-looking than those in the picture.

There used to be a proper Bloodhound at the RAF main gate. I'm not sure if this one at Cosford is the same one.

If it is the same one, then it's been tarted up a bit.
