Hi Guys

Anybody any experience of Roofing companies in Stafford.

I'm particularly after comments about Stafford Roofing Company who are on my roof as I type. The guy seems ok and I guess I should have done this before getting them to do the work but I guessed worth a try.

yes, you'll be gutted if you start to hear bad reports at this stage lol..

i've never had a roof done in my life, stafford or otherwise, so can't help i'm afraid.. hope it all goes well!

my bro used to work for pete ward.

ive never seen any of his work, but he seemed like a decent employer, and that counts for quite a bit in my book.

I have no experience of Stafford Roofing Company either, however if all should go t*ts up (god forbid) then you could call Matt Askey on 07761 097269. He's a builder with plenty of roofing experience, and having had work done by him on my house i'd happily recommend his services.

Hi,

Anyone had any work done by either Baswich Roofing or Greenhill Roofing (Stone)?

Trying to find reviews for these sorts of 'professional' people on the internet is virtually impossible but if i wanted a review for a patterened teapot cosy bought from Argos, nooooo problem, haa.

I'd Avoid 'Cap-It-All Roofing' (Baswich Crest address). He did our porch roof many years ago and we vowed never to use him again!

We have had good work done by R.Congreave Roofing,Stafford 01785 663503 and would use them again for future roofing jobs.

thanks for the heads up, the roofers you mention are different to Baswich Roofing though they're close by to each other.

I'm going with Greenhill roofing, bite the bullet and see if they manage to do a good job.

Were you happy with Greenhill roofing? Is anybody else able to recommend anyone to do a flat roof repair? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I got Darren Fisher to strip, re felt, lath and tile our roof last year. I know he does all roofing work and would recommend him.

I know someone else who's also good and I would recommend but he's semi retired and only takes on smaller jobs now but he may be interested. I'll have a word and see how he is for work before posting his details.

Greenhill Roofing were good, my partner wasn't best pleased with the finish - the cement on the ridge above the gable was cement but replaced with lead, so was a little more obvious and less easy on the eye - but hey i'm sure it was the best thing for it.

The receptionist picked up the phone with a ...Hello, Greenhill Roofing... as opposed to a simple ...yeah, hello... you get from so many of these workmen which was a plus, and all the documents were above board and look professional, so i guess that's all you need.

Can any one recommend a roofing company to repair/replace felt roofing on a garden shed and a flat roof? Are the roofers in previous posts still as reliable?
