Some things i’ll accept and other things are just made up - I live near Seighford, so I drive down the Doxey Rd to the club most evenings, not once have I been blinded, dazzled and swerved into the universal club. Yes it’s brightly lit, they are floodlights but a danger to drivers? Utter rubbish. Any rugby club blamed traffic collisions? Let’s deal in facts

As we all know you shouldn’t actually need speed bumps along the access road?
I disagree, people speed past schools, nurseries, hospitals, doctors surgeries - it happens every day of the week. We will be proactive to sort it

Is it possible to see them speeding through rose tinted glasses and blinkers?

You seem to labour under the illusion that you outshine those around you.

RangeRovers will sail over the speedbumps, but perhaps they can have a flat channel at the side so all the cyclist visitors don't get flung off into the SSSI?

My old mate Gilbert suggests that Castlefields and the surrounding area is quieter and minus traffic congestion on Sundays......

That won't last long once the WAR is built...

Having looked more carefully at the computerised pics of the WAR, I can't see how the Lidl junction can work with all the Greyfriars Place and SGI site traffic. It's already overloaded. The master plan might be to build even bigger carparks on the Marshes. Might as well leaving the piledriver there permanently.

Is that the rugby club's proposed solution to reduce the light pollution issue?

You'll find that ruddy piledriver shoved somewhere if you suggest that again!

    Just wondering, thats all.

Sorry I don’t know anything about a councillor being jailed 30+ years ago. If you are suggesting that there has been bribery involved that’s just fiction. Members have been emailed regularly about the access road. As I mentioned previously, 80% of visitors to the club are not members. Thanks.

There was a feature about it in the Newsletter a few years ago and was on their website, but that seems to have gone now. I think his name was Chapman and he died soon after going into prison.

There was the George Newman affair in the mid-70s - nothing to do with that - that was planning-related..?
