I should be there along with some my modelling mates manning 'Black Country Blues'.

some of those pictures on the link look great, the one above of Andy Y looks so real, lack of graffiti gives it away. I'll pass the information on to my mate, he'll no doubt be wanting to take his grandson.

I would expect that there might be some mention of the bizarre car-parking that went on - some of the 'marshalls' were attempting to get people to park in swamp conditions - it was all a bit mad.

Enjoying a drop of red.
My favourites were Gresten, though I think Health and Safety would be taking an interest in the level crossing not operating as it should have half the time and the Black Country one.

Kinlet Wharf was also pretty good, I thought.

The parking Nazi wasn't too impressed by me choosing not to park in the mud and slime he wanted me to and instead fill an empty space by the side of the tarmacked road (not the disabled bit).

That wasn't you in the Prius, in front of me, that he wanted to be parked in ankle deep mud? If he had managed to get it in there, it would never have got out on its own - and the occupants would have needed waders to get out of the car. It would have been better to leave people alone to find their own patch.

These had been brought in to try and keep the team awake and alert on Day 2 but they didn't work. We found a better use for them to hold bits down.

The guys did wind the clock back a little further later in the day.

Probably in league with the chap in the Land Rover asking for £5 donations to tow people out. We managed to avoid the car park attendants completely and find a dry(ish) patch of our own

No, don't drive a Pius but it sounds like the same bit of swamp that he wanted us to park on.
