And the weather seems fine so i might just have a wonder up there (that's if we can believe the forecasts) Any body know if there might be an EE Deltic running around there be nice to see one again if only a model.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Spent an excellent 3 or so hours up there this afternoon.

Highlights were North of England Line, Somewhere in Belgium (rarely seen such a small space crammed with so much detail), Malix and the totally outstanding Purgatory Peak.

Well worth a visit.

It's a common trend for some layouts to have a name that is fictional, yet has some relevance. However, I decided not to ask about the back-story to this one...

I went. I had an opportunity to deliver sugar cubes from the mines on Seagone (I knew someone on the inside!) it seemed like a good turn out.

I popped into Topp Trains on the way back from what turned out to be a fruitless and secretly-adjourned meeting* with a Council official this morning and found the boys still unpacking from the weekend. I was offered and accepted a nice cup of tea.

I will be consulting my solicitor and seeing if the operation of a café is within their planning restrictions..
