We quite enjoyed the concert from the comfort of our back garden about 1.25 ml out along the A449. Unfortunately it was spoiled for us by the inconsiderate use of klaxons, sirens and other neenaahs on various so-called emergency vehicles proceeding to and fro all evening. Bummer!

We went for the last hour the concerrt and caugt the Motown Magic part and that was great fun, lovely atmosphere and the event organisers were really friendly.

I popped into town on my lunch break and listened to the music that was on then and relaxed in the sun for a bit. Someone mistook me for an event guy (red work uniform) but I taught him about Burh day anyway and had a nice chat.

Good start to the festival if you ask me.

I enjoyed the concert - great atmosphere and well organised. The thing that struck me though was how few people were there. At a guess I'd say until around 8.30 only about 1300, after that maybe 2000 but that's perhaps being generous. I found this quite annoying as I had spotted on Facebook the few days before the concert just how many people were desperate for tickets - lots were given away by kind people who no longer wanted theirs but there must have been a LOT of people who had tickets and didn't bother to go. A shame when there were so many people who would have loved to have been there.

I offered my tickets on here and elsewhere but nobody was interested.

I think TBH the weather counted against them, everyone I knew was either at a BBQ or entrenched in a beer garden.

got to agree, I was surprised that there wasn't more people there. However I think everyone who did go enjoyed themselves.
ive got a few pics that I will put on the photography section later.
only taken with my Note II so not brilliant quality though.
