Then that is overseas ruth! I suspect like many others that have arrived here before, you suspect we are Stafford in the States. We're in the UK.

And we don't all have Staffies.

Though obviously we all practice the art of dogging. Dogging on the Chase. Dogging + Chase + Staffordshire etc etc.

But not with Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

What would be your dog of choice then, when dogging on Cannock Chase?

Warning on Facebook today from Staffordshire Police -

"CRIME PREVENTION:

There have been reports of residents in the‪#‎Stafford‬ area receiving telephone calls from a male purporting to be from ‘Microsoft’ suggesting you have a virus on your computer.

Microsoft will never contact you in this way, this is an extremely common scam where the caller will ask you to switch on your computer and provide information which will allow them to access it remotely.

You will then be charged a fee and damaging software may be installed on your computer.

If you know of any elderly or vulnerable neighbours or family members who own a computer please warn them of this scam and advise them to hang up immediately should they receive such a call."

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
I would talk to them and wait until I get asked to click on the "Start" button and play completely stupid and ask them where it is. After a while I may let it slip that I have an iMac.

I've just had the first "your internet has been compromised" call for a long time - they had managed to make it look like it was from a legitimate UK number - 01266 549 634.

But 01266 is an area code that is no longer in use - it was around Ballymena, but all the old Northern Ireland codes were superseded a few years ago.
