The old cellar bar was having new signs put up when I walked past, it's now "Scotties Bar and Lounge" think it said something like open nightly from 10:30.

Like the vape shop near the prison, this is sadly doomed. Numerous businesses since the strip club have gone in there and suffered due to no significant footfall. I do not wish failure upon it and hope it thrives, I am unsure if it has a usp to drive people along to there.

Tbf, I have heard positive things about the place from the people who've gone, but you're right, footfall is an issue, it's just too far out of town to have any meaningful impact.

Seems to have shut suddenly on January the 12th, sighting the initial contract had ended and they were upping the rent.

Seems rather short sighted. The Reynolds centre is hardly booming, think he needs to be more realistic with rent prices.

It seemed quite popular, always had 20-50 in at weekends and highly rated on Facebook, seems rental greed killed it off .
