I don't think so. Both suitors are posting from (different) local IPs, with different (but well-known) ISPs, so appear genuine enough.

I suspect Stefano was spurred into action by 2Unlimited's candor. Who knows; perhaps the latter will open the floodgates, and Stafford Forum will become Tinder: Stafford Edition! ;)

One can't help feeling a bit sorry for poor Stefano.

Judging from his two other threads - asking about bank opening times and trying to arrange a lift to work - the most likely scenario is that the fellow has recently moved to Stafford for work. Here he is just trying to find some companionship from the good ladies of Stafford to help with the unfamiliar surroundings.

Unfortunately for him he has turned up at the same time as, and been confused in the popular imagination with, our 'prostitute (whore)' seeking friend.

Someone go for a walk with Stefano, eh?

What happened to the other Italian from Yarnfield?

I would love to offer Stephano some advice on how to meet people of his age but I am rather out of the loop.

Back in the day when I was 22 we just went out and met people. Nowadays everyone is glued to technology...social media etc.

It seems to me that people dont know how to connect face to face anymore which is a shame.
